FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely ophthalmology. A three-port subtotal vitrectomy is performed using a vitrector 25 or 27 G with the removal of the central and posterior parts of the vitreous body with layered removal of the posterior hyaloid and inner boundary membranes after their preliminary staining. Then, in the zone of the maximum height of foveashizis, after local peeling of the inner boundary membrane, a needle of 38 G is injected into the intraretinal space of platelet-rich plasma in an amount of 0.1-0.2 ml, which is prepared immediately before surgery by centrifugation of the patient’s blood.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to restore the anatomical profile of the foveal region, improve the functional index of the retina and visual acuity.
