FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to ophthalmology, namely to ophthalmosurgery. That is followed by vitrectomy or extrusion of silicone oil; a drop of the MembraneBlue Dual dye is applied in amount of 0.1–0.2 ml on the optic nerve region. Dye is applied in the air, wherein a perfluororganic compound (PFOC) is injected into the drop of the dye in an amount required for spreading the dye over the surface of the retina to the level of a dentate line. Further, the coloured retina is visualized by means of a xenon source with a green light filter.
EFFECT: method provides improved possibility and quality of examination of retinal surface with detection of epiretinal membranes, ruptures of retina and adhesive plugging agents, high quality of imaging, including peripheral retinal parts.
