FIELD: testing.
SUBSTANCE: area of application: gas analysis. The substance of the invention consists in the fact that the gas analyser sensor unit comprises a first sensor conductor constituting a fibre optic cable with a solid core, provided with a terminal end; a second sensor conductor constituting a fibre optic cable with a hollow core, provided with an end section, wherein the fibre optic cable with a hollow core has a hollow inner part; and a connecting element containing a weld joint connecting the terminal end of the first sensor conductor with the end section of the second sensor conductor, wherein the connecting element includes a hole fluidly connected with the hollow inner part, and is gas-permeable.
EFFECT: provided possibility of creating a structurally simple gas sensor and using said sensor on large distances.
