FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rolling equipment, in particular, to screw rolling mills. The screw rolling mill comprises a working stand with four rolls forming a deformation centre with an inlet and an outlet cones. All four rolls are therein driven. Two of the rolls are bowl-shaped and have the same dimensions, the other two rolls are mushroom-shaped and have the same dimensions. The ratio of the clamping diameter of the bowl-shaped roll to the clamping diameter of the mushroom-shaped roll is from 1.1 to 1.4. The bowl-shaped rolls are located at an angle from 5 to 7° relative to the rolling axis, and the mushroom-shaped rolls - at an angle of rolling from 7 to 10°. The supply angle for all rolls is from 14 to 16°. The vector of the helicoidal motion in the section of the outlet of the sleeve from the rolls is the same for all rolls in the direction and value.
EFFECT: technological capabilities of the mill are improved, high reliability and durability are ensured, precision of the rolled products is increased, and a more uniform structure is obtained in the volume of rods and hollow pipe workpieces as a result.
