FIELD: medicine; experimental dermatology.
SUBSTANCE: on the zero day of the experiment, anagen is induced by depilation of hair shafts from the back skin. From the first day of the experiment, 1 % testosterone gel is applied daily at rate of 5 mg/kg with subsequent application in 30 minutes of a complex of miliacin—3-β-methoxy-Δ18-oleanene with polyoxyethylated-20-sorbitol-oleate with concentration of miliacin—3-β-methoxy-Δ18-oleanene 30 mg/ml. When simulating androgenic alopecia, the complex is applied for 28 days. When simulating cyclophosphamide-induced alopecia, the complex is applied for 15–33 days with a single intraperitoneal introduction of cyclophosphamide 125 mg/kg on the ninth day of the experiment.
EFFECT: group of inventions enables to study the effect of a complex of miliacin—3-β-methoxy-Δ18-oleanene with polyoxyethylated-20-sorbitol-oleate in conditions of simulating non-scarring alopecia with various etiopathogenesis and character of hair follicle cycle disturbance for development of new methods of treatment of non-scarring alopecia.
