FIELD: railway transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport and is intended for securing containers on railway platforms. The apparatus for securing containers on a platform includes a base (1) with a longitudinal through cut open on one of the sides thereof, on both sides whereof two plates (2) are installed rotatably, wherein a fitting stop (3) is secured on each of said plates. On the side of the open end of the through cut, the base has two parts protruding beyond the dimensions of the plates, wherein eyelets with through holes for placing the locking axle are welded to the end surface of the side of each of said plates and near the plates. Each plate is equipped with a handle. The fitting stops on each plate are offset relative to the centre of the plates toward one of the lateral sides, located near the longitudinal through cut of the base, and a fastener is rigidly fixed by the side of the fitting stops in each plate, configured to be placed in the corresponding through hole made in the base. The locking axle is equipped with a handle placed in the through longitudinal cut of the base.

EFFECT: invention increases the reliability of transportation due to the ensured stability of containers under any vibration and wind loads, sue to the ensured safety of the apparatus at all stages of operation, expands the operational capabilities, and increases ease of operation.
