SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to railway transport and relate to facilities for transportation of containers and / or other cargoes on railway platforms. Device for attachment of containers on platform comprises housing with through vertical cavity, on side walls of which there are support guide longitudinal slots for movement of plate (3) with stop (2) and with their subsequent rotation by 180° when placing the plate with the stop in the extreme position near the cover installed in the housing with the possibility of rotation and shutting of the through vertical cavity of the housing together with the plate after its rotation by 180° stopper downwards. On two opposite side walls of plate there are two projections, conjugated with support guide slots of cavity of housing. On the side walls of the plate there are rotary axes arranged in slots of the housing, in which the cover is installed with possibility of rotation. According to the method of mounting on a platform and preparing for operation of the device in a metal flooring of the platform, a hole is cut in which the housing is flush with the plane of the metal flooring of the platform and is welded along the contour of attachment of the platform and the housing. Plate with fitting stop arranged vertically down is moved along longitudinal guides of housing until it stops with cover flipped upwards, after which plate with fitting stop is turned through 180°, by focusing the stop up, and moved along longitudinal guides in reverse direction until stop against inner side surface of housing, after which cover is turned to rest against plate. When making housing with flange housing is inserted into hole in platform of platform to stop of lower plane of flange with plane of flooring platform, and welding is carried out along the contact line of the flange of the housing with the metal platform of the platform and improving the ease of installation and preparation of the device for operation and during operation.

EFFECT: disclosed is a device for securing containers on a railway platform.
