FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to recycling of organic agricultural and food industry waste. The method for removing water from high-moisture organic waste consists in consecutive introduction of coagulant and organic cationic flocculant solutions into the organic waste, followed by separation of water, wherein the initial organic waste is crushed resulting in pulp, aluminum oxychloride is used as a coagulant, and cationic polyacrylamide flocculant Flopam FO 4490 or FO 4350 is used as an organic cationic flocculant. The coagulant and flocculant solutions are introduced into the resulting pulp in amounts determined as a result of experiments wherein a series of samples of the resulting pulp are processed by separate introduction of the coagulant solution and the flocculant solution.
EFFECT: invention provides a reduction in the applied pressure during extraction to 10 kgf/cm2, a reduction in the volume of the residue, and production of a residue with a moisture content of less than 40%.
