FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for forming blanks from powder by uniaxial dry cold pressing with simultaneous exposure to ultrasonic vibrations. The installation contains a system for applying force, including a modular structure with four preloaded columns with upper and lower traverses, between which there is an area for forming blanks with a matrix of tooling with punches, a powder storage hopper, an automated system for feeding the powder of the prepared attachment into the matrix of tooling. The tooling punches have built-in elements for high-precision measurement of the pressing force, while the installation contains an ultrasonic impact unit consisting of an ultrasonic generator and an ultrasonic transducer. The ultrasonic impact unit is connected to the tooling matrix in working condition during the pressing process. The installation contains a displacement system, inside of which there is a vacuum manipulator that automatically extracts formed blanks from the tooling matrix and moves them onto pallets, with simultaneous non-destructive control of the mass and geometric dimensions of the blanks, as well as an adaptive control unit that controls the operation of all units and systems of the installation.

EFFECT: invention ensures the production of pressed blanks of uniform density with minimal internal stresses while maintaining the specified geometry, with the specified density characteristics and the average grain size of the material.
