FIELD: petroleum industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in production of thermistors and fuses of temperature sensors. The method for producing petroleum-polymer composite materials based on tar and polyethylene includes preliminary determination of graphical dependences of the specific electrical resistance and softening temperature of the composite material on the composition thereof. Based on the determined graphical dependences, the composition of the composite material is selected. Said composition is then produced by mixing tar and polyethylene at a plant for producing the petroleum-polymer composite material. The plant includes a raw material preparation unit consisting of raw material containers 1, 11, 9, raw material pumps 8, 10 and a disintegrator 2, a mixing unit consisting of two batch reactors 3 and 4 with frame agitators, and a commercial product output unit.
EFFECT: invention ensures production of petroleum-polymer thermoresistive composite materials with predetermined specific electrical resistance and softening temperature.
