Polymer composition for electric field strength control contains butadiene-nitrile rubber, crushed ilmenite concentrate as current-conducting filler and inorganic dielectric filler with high dielectric permeability, plasticizer and an adhesive additive with the following ratio of components, wt%: butadiene-nitrile rubber 15–25, titanium dioxide 40–60, ilmenite concentrate 15–25, plasticiser 5–15, petroleum polymer resin fraction C9 5–7.

EFFECT: invention increases protection against penetration of oil.
