FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, namely to turbine generators that can be used in power plants, as well as a backup energy source at gas distribution stations. The jet-expander generator contains an electric generator (16) connected to a turbine in the form of a Segner wheel. The turbine is installed in a cylindrical casing (1), contains a tubular shaft (6) with a closed end, mounted for rotation, on which, in a plane perpendicular to the axis, rows of pipes (9) are installed with open ends bent in opposite directions, equipped with fairing pylons (thirty). Holes (27) are made in the wall of the tubular shaft (6) corresponding to the branch pipes (9). The working gas outlet channel (25) is located tangentially relative to the housing (1) and a grating (26) is installed inside it, and a shutter blade (31) is installed at the inlet. The cavity (24) of the turbine casing (1) is connected with the cavity of the casing (17) of the electric generator (16) with ventilation supply channels (12) and ventilation exhaust channels (13). In the second version of the jet-expander generator, the electric generator is connected to the turbine by means of a magnetic coupling installed in a sealed casing.
EFFECT: invention improves the efficiency, reliability, service life and explosion safety of the generator.
