FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method and a medical system for imaging an intracardiac electrogram. The system comprises a catheter for insertion into the cardiac chamber of the living subject with electrodes for contact with the tissues at locations inside the cardiac chamber, a display, and a circuit for processing signals from the catheter. The voltage values of the signals are therein sampled at time values. The intracardiac electrograms (IEGM) representing the electrical activity in tissues are pictured on the display. Each IEGM includes a linear arrangement of forms associated with and arranged in the time order of time values. Form fillers are formatted in accordance with the sampled voltage values of one of the signals sampled at time values. The form fillers are coloured in accordance with the sampled voltage values of one of the signals sampled by time values.
EFFECT: improved determination of the quality of contact of the electrodes of a multielectrode catheter with the tissues of a patient in the process of determining and measuring the electrical intracardiac activity is achieved due to imaging thereof in the form of multichannel colour formatted intracardiac electrograms represented by the sampled voltage values of the signal of the corresponding electrode using a linear arrangement of coloured forms in accordance with the time order of the corresponding time values associated with the sampled voltage values encoded in colour forms.
