FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be used to annotate an electroanatomic map. The method is proposed that includes receiving signals from mapping electrodes placed at locations inside the heart indicating electrical activity in the tissues in contact with the electrodes, and processing signals for identification, for each location, of at least one corresponding LAT in the heart cycle. For each location, the earliest LAT in the cycle is identified and an electroanatomic map is generated and visualized, including mapping points having corresponding locations and indicating the earliest LAT at each location. An input selecting a subset of points is taken, and the time range containing the earliest LAT at most points in the subset is determined. One or more overlying points in the subset is identified, and a second LAT is detected, later than the earliest LAT in the cycle, within at least one LAT identified at overlying points. The map is updated to display the found second LAT.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides an increase in the efficiency of correction of erroneous LAT values in the heart cycle.
