SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a compound of the formula (I), in which R1 and R2 are independently selected from a group consisting of hydrogen and C1-C3alkyl; X is O(R3) or N(R4R5); R3 is C1-C4alkyl; R4 and R5 are independently selected from a group consisting of hydrogen and C1-C4alkyl; Y is O; Z is selected from a group consisting of a bond, CH2, CH2-CH2, CH2-CH2-CH2, (O)-CH2, CH(CH3)2-CH2 and oxygen; each of A1-A4 is independently selected from a group consisting of a bond, CR8=CR8 and S, where A1-A4, together with atoms, to which they are attached, form a phenyl ring or a heteroaryl ring, such as thienyl; and each R8 is independently selected from a group consisting of hydrogen, C1-C4alkyl, C1-C4alkoxy and C1-C4halogenalkyl; or two R8 groups form a dioxolane ring. The invention also relates to a composition for stimulating seed germination based on the compound of the formula (I).
EFFECT: new compounds and a composition based on them are obtained, which can be used in agriculture to stimulate seed germination.
