FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology, in particular, to production of a biomass of aerobic microorganisms. The method for producing a biomass of aerobic microorganisms involves cultivation of microorganisms in conditions of continuous circulation of the culture liquid in a closed contour and continuous saturation with gaseous hydrocarbons and an aerating agent when supplying the nutrient medium and removing the accumulated biomass. The culture liquid circulates in the fermenter while being saturated with gaseous hydrocarbons and the aerating agent with preliminary cooling thereof. The nutrient mineral medium is therein supplied into the fermenter through a mixing aerating head using the de Laval nozzle principle, and atmospheric air is used as an aerating agent, and methane and/or homologues thereof are used as a gaseous nutrient substrate.

EFFECT: invention provides a possibility of increasing the yield of biomass and increasing the environmental safety.
