FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology. A fermenter is described that includes at least four blocks interconnected to form a closed circuit, while the first and third blocks are vertically oriented, the second and fourth blocks are horizontally oriented, means for supplying CL components, selecting CL, removing residual and formed in the process of vital activity of microorganisms of gases, supply and removal of coolant, means for measuring QOL parameters, at least one pump connected to a closed circuit, at least one bubbler located in the lower or upper part of a vertically oriented block, installed after the pump in the direction movement of the flow along the contour, at least one block for degassing the CL flow, installed in the part of the vertically oriented block opposite from the bubbler. Also described is a fermentation plant, including the described fermenter.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the rate and efficiency of gas exchange in the process of circulating the culture liquid along the fermenter circuit, while providing the possibility of scaling the fermenter and the fermentation plant as a whole to industrial volumes.
