FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: method relates to systems for automatic control of petroleum and gas equipment and allows for timely detection of pre-emergency situations associated with formation of water and ice plugs and deposition of hydrates in gas equipment. In the method, the temperature and flow rate of gas through the gas equipment or the gas pressure drop on the metering constricting apparatus located in the gas flow are periodically measured. Based on the measured values, an indicator of the critical condition of the equipment is formed. In order to determine the time interval of the onset of the critical condition of the equipment, the statistical data of termination of the flowline of the gas collecting field network are used.
EFFECT: provided reliable control of petroleum and gas equipment and detection of plugging of the equipment.
