To implement the method for preventing ice formation, the gas collecting pipeline is initially blown down with gas from the wells without being released into the atmosphere. The specific liquid content in the gas is measured at the end of the gas collecting pipeline. The gas is separated during a temporary blow-down period until the specific liquid content decreases to a value determined in advance. The time of the blow-down period is fixed, the density and total volume of the separated liquid are measured, after which the gas collection pipeline is switched to the current operating mode, in which the gas flow rate in the pipeline is measured, the specific content of liquid in the gas at the beginning of the gas collection pipeline, the gas Celsius temperature at the points of entry of the inhibitor and at the first point along the gas flow from wells, in which the gas Celsius temperature has a negative value. An ice formation inhibitor is supplied and after a time calculated according to the above mathematical expression, inhibitor supply is stopped and the gas collection pipeline is blown down again with gas from the wells without being released into the atmosphere during the blowdown period fixed during the initial blowdown. The gas collecting pipeline is transferred to the current operational mode.

EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the operation of field pipelines, as well as a reduction in the consumption of an ice formation inhibitor.
