FIELD: separation devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a separation device for separating the liquid phase from reservoir gas. The device includes a cylindrical body with drainage channels, a separation element and a perforated section are located sequentially inside the body, the separation element is divided into segments, and the inner part of the separation element has a cavity, the internal flow section of which is a Venturi tube. Slots are formed between the segments to drain the condensed liquid; on the outer side of the segments there are springs supported on the housing; the separation element is configured to change the internal flow area by moving the segments towards the inner part of the housing when passing the cleaning and diagnostic agent through the internal section of the separation element into the process of removing deposited contaminants from the separation element. The invention also relates to a hydrodynamic separation device and a method for separating a gas-liquid mixture.
EFFECT: possibility of passing cleaning and diagnostic means through the pipeline on which the separation device is installed, including through the separation device.
