SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for removing snow and ice formations from the ice surface of a reservoir when laying transport routes along them. The device for cleaning the ice surface of the reservoir from snow-hummock formations includes two augers rotating in a horizontal plane towards each other from a common drive located in the center. The augers are made with the possibility of transporting the crushed mass to the center of the route being cleaned using screw strips with cutters fixed on them. At the same time, the axes of rotation of the augers are inclined to the direction of movement of the base machine at an angle of 80-85°, and the screw strips in the central ends of the augers for a length of 0.1-0.16 of the screw diameter are fixed cantilevered.

EFFECT: invention provides for the creation of a smooth surface of the cleaned strip by eliminating the possibility of the formation of a wide strip of undisturbed hummock formation in the center of the cleaned route, which prevents the passage of snow and ice mass into the thrower, as well as reducing energy costs for cleaning the route and increasing the efficiency of the working body of the surface planer machine.
