FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of ice-cleaning operations on the surface of a water body by removing ice and forming ice free areas in an ice field for installation of floating bridges or for lowering to the bottom of the reservoir of repair structures, pipe workpieces and mechanisms required for maintenance and repair of oil and gas pipelines laid along the river bottom. Method of making lanes in an ice field is carried out by cutting the ice cover at the place of the future lane into cells and removing the cells under ice by placing a floating machine on the ice field, connected by a traction rope with an anchor fixed on the ice field. At the same time only one amphibious vehicle is installed and used, providing the load factor on the ice of the cell equal to 0.8–1 t/t.
EFFECT: reduction of energy consumption for removal of ice cells from water surface of the made lane.
