SUBSTANCE: apparatus (2) for cooking food products, containing: a rotating tool (30) configured to process a food product introduced into the apparatus for cooking food product in order to produce solid particles of the food product and juice; a drum (20) configured to rotate on the apparatus for cooking food product, wherein the drum comprises a radially outer drum wall extending in a circumferential plane and enveloping the inner space (24) of the apparatus for cooking food products in order to contain the food product during processing, wherein the apparatus for cooking food product is configured for the drum to rotate around the axis (X₁) of rotation so that the rotation of the drum causes ejection of solid particles of the food product and juice radially outward; and a filtering element (42) configured to rotate together with the drum and containing a perforated wall (44), wherein the perforated wall at least partially forms a juice channel for releasing the juice from the drum, wherein the perforated wall is configured to pass the juice from the food product through the perforated wall and to prevent the passage of solid particles of the food product through the perforated wall, wherein the perforated wall is offset from said circumferential plane and extends in a direction with a component in the radial direction of the drum so that the juice and the solid particles of the food product pass through the perforated wall in the direction with the component in the circumferential direction of the drum.
