FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to cables for a rail vehicle. An application of a multi-core cable (12) with four correspondingly twisted pairs (14), shielded from each other, as wiring (10) of a rail vehicle (2). Control data is therein transmitted via the fieldbus system (6), and other data is transmitted via the Ethernet system (8). All data is therein transmitted via a common cable (12, 16), wherein two of the twisted pairs (14) of the multi-core cable (12) form a fieldbus system (5) for transmitting control data, and the other two twisted pairs (14) of the multi-core cable (12) form an Ethernet system (8) for transmitting other data. The two twisted pairs (14) forming the fieldbus system (6) and the two twisted pairs (14) forming the Ethernet system (8) are therein twisted pairs (14), located opposite each other, respectively. Also claimed are a rail vehicle (2) containing a multi-core cable (12) with four twisted pairs (14) shielded from each other.
EFFECT: ensured compactness and electromagnetic compatibility of the cable for use in a rail vehicle.
