SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a refrigerator. The controller is configured to control the chiller so that cold is supplied to the ice making unit after the second tray assembly is moved to the ice making position when water is fully supplied to the ice making unit. The controller is configured to control the second chute assembly so that the second chute assembly moves in the reverse direction after moving to the forward ice separation position to remove ice from the ice making cell when ice is completely made in the ice making cell. The controller is configured to control the second trough assembly so that the water supply is started after the second trough assembly has moved to the reverse water supply position when the ice has completely separated. The controller is configured to control a heater to be turned on in at least a partial section while the cooler supplies cold so that the bubbles dissolved in the water inside the ice-making cell move from the ice-making section to the water. which is in a liquid state to make the ice clear. The first tray assembly includes a first tray defining a portion of the ice-making cell and a first tray body supporting the first tray. The second tray assembly includes a second tray defining another portion of the ice-making cell and a second tray body supporting the second tray. One of the housings of the first and second troughs includes a first portion having a shape corresponding to the shape of an ice-making cell and a second portion extending from a predetermined point of the first portion to support either one of the first trough and the second trough.
