SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment and can be used to analyze the electrophoretic mobility of dispersed particles and determine the zeta potential of colloidal systems. The device for measuring the zeta potential contains an illuminating laser, an analyzer unit for the size of dispersed particles, a measuring cell, while the measuring cell is made remote with the possibility of immersion in the liquid under study, while the measuring cell includes the first and second electrodes located in the cell body, made with the ability providing access of the test liquid to the space between the electrodes, an optical system consisting of two single-mode optical fibers, a short-focus collimating lens that focuses the laser light from the first optical fiber into the region between the electrodes and an angled mirror that directs the collected light scattered by the particles through a prism and a converging lens into the second optical fiber, which ensures the transmission of this light into the analyzer unit.

EFFECT: extension of the functionality of the zeta potential analyzer.
