FIELD: wireless communication.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of wireless communication, namely to the designation of a mobile device when connected to a local wireless network. To do this, the device displays a visual image containing the mobile application identifier or an associated identifier that is read using the visual image reading subsystem and sent to the authorization subsystem; in accordance with the application identifier, a request is sent to the mobile device via the application to connect the mobile device to a local wireless network; in case of consent to the connection, the mobile device connects to a local wireless network; the local wireless subsystem receives from the mobile device a group of network packets containing the application identifier or the associated identifier and the identifier of the network layer device directed to the address of the identification resource, the local wireless subsystem determines the hardware network identifier of the device by the identifier of the network layer device; the local wireless subsystem sends to the authorization subsystem the network layer device identifier or associated identifier connected with each other and the hardware network device identifier or associated identifier; the local wireless subsystem transmits to the authorization subsystem at least part of the network packet group received from the mobile device containing the application identifier or associated identifier; the authorization subsystem, based on the network layer device identifier and/or its associated identifier, associates the application identifier or its associated identifier and the hardware network identifier of the device or its associated identifier; the designation system stores the associated application identifier or its associated identifier and the hardware network identifier of the device or its associated identifier.

EFFECT: elimination of the risk of leakage of personal data of the user of the mobile device, as well as insensitivity to periodic changes in the hardware network identifier of the device by maintaining a permanent application identifier or an associated identifier.
