FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, in particular to the articulated crank mechanism. The articulated mechanism of the variable structure contains a closed kinematic chain, including a support post and lever links forming cylindrical hinges in the form of rotational kinematic pairs. A closed kinematic chain is made in the form of an assembly in the plane of lever links into changeable closed contours by means of kinematic connections with different arrangement of the axes of cylindrical hinges. Alternatively, a closed kinematic chain is made by a set of cylindrical hinges with axes of rotation located along mutually perpendicular coordinate axes. When these lever links of the assembled flat structure of the closed contours of the kinematic chain are rotated, the chain is transformed into a spatial movable structure of the crank mechanism with spatial movement of the output link.
EFFECT: simplification of the design is achieved.
