SUBSTANCE: device (3) for solids supply has a slider (9) that can be moved between the first end position and the second end position via a transport connection (8), which is located between the hopper (5) and the solid outlet (7) of the device (3) to feed the solid. The slider (9) is activated as soon as the transport connection (8) between the solid outlet (7) and the hopper (5) is clogged, the blockage of the transport connection (8) being detected by the monitoring device (23). By means of the slide (9), deposits inside the transport connection (8) can be loosened without dismantling the transport connection (8).
EFFECT: solids supply device improvement.
