SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to a sensor system for determining a position of a flap in a volumetric pump for continuous infusions. The sensor system for the volumetric pump contains at least one sensor unit, at least one sensor transmitting unit, as well as a unit for processing sensor output signals. The sensor transmitting unit is made with the possibility of supplying a detection variable varying depending on the position of the stroke to the sensor unit along a predetermined path, along which a stationary sensor unit and a movable sensor transmitting unit or a movable sensor unit and a stationary sensor transmitting unit move relatively to each other. The sensor unit is made with the possibility of issuing a detecting signal corresponding to a specific stroke position based on a varying detection variable. The unit for processing sensor output signals is made with the possibility of receiving a detecting signal issued by the sensor unit and distinguishing at least three stroke positions based on the received detecting signal.

EFFECT: identification of the position of the front flap of the volumetric pump is achieved, at least in the open state, semi-closed state and closed state.
