FIELD: road construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of road construction, namely the construction of embankments, and can be used for construction in cramped conditions or for maximum use of the area allocated for construction. A method for constructing a vertical slope of a road embankment, in accordance with which the vertical slope of a road embankment is formed from L-shaped retaining blocks made of reinforcement. The holding blocks are fixed in three planes as follows: the fixing bend at the end of the bearing rods of the holding blocks is driven into the ground, the adjacent holding blocks are connected to each other by means of lateral bends of the longitudinal rods, the upper rows are connected to the lower ones by means of connecting bends on the bearing rods of the holding blocks.
EFFECT: increasing the stability of the vertical slope of the road embankment to shear loads, simplifying the method of constructing the vertical slope of the road embankment.
