FIELD: construction industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to transport construction industry, and can be used when constructing industrial and civil objects under severe engineering-geological conditions and in earthquake areas. Solid retaining wall operating under severe engineering-geological conditions and in earthquake areas has a reinforced part therebehind. This part has reinforced soil construction. Retaining wall represents a box construction made in the form of corrugated modular sections. The latter are made of spacer elements in the form of shaped plates, which are connected to front and rear vertical columns by means of trapezoid-shaped connection elements, and fasteners in the form of thread connections with diameter of not less than 16 mm. Reinforced soil construction is made in the form of consolidated loose waterproof material layers at least 400 mm thick, which take turn with reinforcing material layers, and is formed inside corrugated modular sections and in the part behind the wall. Reinforced soil construction widens while it moves away from corrugated modular section surface, and smoothly passes into adjacent slope.
EFFECT: reducing material consumption, and improving reliability, stability, efficiency, and carrying capacity, reducing construction time, complete absence of wet processes, simple and fast erection, reducing erection time, resistance to considerable temperature differential, high lifetime, vibration and seismic resistance, high adaptability to changing soil conditions, and economy and observance of environment protection.
