SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft electrical configuration, aircraft comprising said configuration and method of its operation. Layout includes two air conditioning systems, two converters, each of which is designed to supply one of the air conditioning systems, and at least a first electric machine for starting the first main engine of the aircraft. Electrical arrangement is made so that two converters can power together the first electrical machine. Each of the two converters contains two inverters. Arrangement includes a switch for coupling at least two first inverters. Electric machine includes main winding, which can be supplied through switch, and exciting winding, which can be supplied by the second of inverters.
EFFECT: invention enables to share converters when used for dissimilar loads, namely for air conditioning system and for electric machines providing start of main engines.
