FIELD: cable cars.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a cable car. According to the invention, at least one support (1) of the cable car is provided with a detection device (9) having at least one evaluation unit (16) and having at least two sensors (15) connected to the evaluation unit (16). In this case, the first sensor (15) is located in the area (E) of the entrance of the support (1) of the cable car in order to recognize the presence of the cable car (5) in the registration area of the first sensor (15), and the second sensor (15) is located in the area (A ) the exit of the cable car support in order to recognize the presence of the cable car (5) in the registration area of the second sensor (15). A detecting device (9) is provided to detect the number (i) of the cable car (5) between the first sensor (15) and the second sensor (15) and generate an error signal (F) when the detected number (i) exceeds a predetermined maximum number (imax).
EFFECT: safety of the cable car is increased.
