FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a ropeway operation method. According to the invention, it is provided that the cabin unique identifier (FIDn) is assigned to each cabin (5n), wherein the cabin identifier (FIDn) of each cabin (5n) is known to the ropeway control system (10). At least one function control unit (20i) transmits faults initiated by cabins (5n) during operation of ropeway (1) to ropeway control system (10) in function status message FSi. Ropeway control system (10) assigns the fault which was received to initiating cabin (5n) and faults together with the identifier (FIDn) of initiating cabin (5n) are stored and evaluated in the ropeway control system (10).
EFFECT: as a result, elimination of cableway malfunctions during ropeway operation is simplified.
