SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to psychophysiology, and is intended for the early diagnosis of disorders of attention functions in children. Non-verbal instruction is performed, after which the subject is presented with a sequence of visual stimuli in the form of a series of stationary colored fields replacing each other in a random order. The subject reacts by pressing one of the colored buttons on the remote control. Wherein the color of the buttons on the remote control changes with each subsequent visual stimulus. The median of the speed of response, the number of errors, the presence of repetitions in the response upon presentation of the subsequent stimulus, the reaction time and the number of errors in the first and second halves of testing are determined, according to which concentration of attention, its switchability and stability are assessed.

EFFECT: method provides an assessment of the concentration of attention, its switchability and stability in subjects of childhood, both intellectually intact and with intellectual disability and impaired social contacts.
