FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for gas stream decarbonization, wherein the specified method includes at least following stages: a) supply of a gas stream containing from 15 to 60% of carbon dioxide by volume relatively to the total volume of the gas stream, b) passage of the specified gas stream through zeolite agglomerate, and c) extraction of the CO2-depleted gas stream, where zeolite agglomerate contains at least one clay binder and at least one zeolite of FAU type and has mesopore volume from 0.02 to 0.15 cm3/g and mesopore volume fraction from 0.1 to 0.5. The invention also relates to the use of zeolite agglomerate for the decarbonization of the gas stream containing from 15 to 60% of carbon dioxide by volume relatively to the total volume of the gas stream, while zeolite agglomerate contains at least one clay binder and at least one zeolite of FAU type and has mesopore volume from 0.02 to 0.15 cm3/g and mesopore volume fraction from 0.1 to 0.5.
EFFECT: obtaining a method for gas stream decarbonization.
