FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric cleaning of gases and can be used in various industries, power engineering, metallurgy, meteorology. Device includes precipitation electrode and corona-forming electrode with protruding elements on its body. Between protruding elements, with a gap of not more than 50 mm from their surface, there are electric discharge initiators grounded through electrical resistance. In body of corona-forming electrode there are through holes.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of cleaning gases owing to improved stability of corona discharge and generation of ionic wind.
