SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a downhole tool and a method for hydraulic fracturing of multiple lateral boreholes in a borehole system. The downhole tool contains: a radial outer casing forming an inner hole made with the possibility of fluid flow; an expansion element located inside a through radial hole of a radial outer casing with the possibility of extending the expansion element in the specified hole beyond the outer surface of the radial outer casing in a radially expanded position; and a sliding coupling located along the inner surface of the radial outer housing and made with the possibility of engagement with the expansion element. The specified coupling contains a set of grooves or latches made with the possibility of moving the expansion element between the radially retracted position when the sliding coupling is in the first linear position and the radially expanded position when the sliding clutch is in the second linear position.

EFFECT: ensuring effective access to all the lateral boreholes of the well and, as a result, increasing the efficiency and reliability of technical means that ensure hydraulic fracturing in a well with many lateral boreholes.
