FIELD: packing and storage.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to devices intended for long-term storage of automobile tires and method of its application. Device for long-term storage of automobile tires consists of four support posts, welded to them of four transverse beams for stiffening of structure, one transverse beam for installation of drive sprocket of turning mechanism, four transverse beams with process holes. Four transverse support rollers are inserted into the process holes of the transverse beams, which are the support elements of the car tires, on the ends of which four driven sprockets are pressed, connected by a chain transmission with a mechanism for simultaneous rotation of tires around its axis on the entire rack, changing the support area.
EFFECT: provision of safety of tires during long-term storage, provision of conditions excluding deformation of beads and side walls of tires during their storage in vertical position on racks.
