FIELD: forestry and agriculture, in particular, licorice extraction equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has main frame 1, digging working tool 5 provided with inclined tines 94,95, and root extraction unit 8 with rotors 153,154,155. Rotors are equipped with radial detentes 157 and drives 10. Rotors and their drives 10 are mounted on auxiliary frame provided with hydraulic drive 77 and turnbuckle 82 and pivotally connected to main frame 1. Disk cutters 6,7 are mounted on L-shaped brackets 15,16 of main frame 1. Inclined tines 94,95 of digging tool 5 are positioned in clearance adjacent to cutters 6,7. Such construction allows licorice root to be completely extracted from dug out soil layer. EFFECT: increased efficiency, reduced power consumption and material usage. 78 cl, 40 dwg
