FIELD: MHD engineering. SUBSTANCE: pump has external magnetic circuit 1 with winding made in form of disk coils 2, channel 3, internal magnetic circuit 6. Internal shell 5 is welded of sheet material. Longitudinal weld is deepened into groove made inside internal magnetic circuit 6 in order to provided compensation of lateral thermal expansion. Shell 5 adjoins magnetic circuit 6 tightly. EFFECT: improved reliability. 3 dwg
