Strain of bacteria Methylococcus capsulatus VS1, having the ability to produce protein, is deposited in the Russian National Collection of Microorganisms of Skryabin IBPM of the Russian Academy of Sciences under registration number VKM B-3482D. Strain Methylococcus capsulatus VKM B-3482D can be used to produce protein biomass.
EFFECT: invention increases output of microbial protein.
