FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for complex processing of guar seeds, can be used for production of guar gum in food, oil industry, as well as in agriculture. Method of processing guar seeds includes the following stages: cleaning seeds from the shell, which includes soaking guar seeds in an aqueous solution at temperature of 45 to 65 °C and subsequent separation of the seed shells; milling peeled guar seeds; separation of milled guar seeds into germs and milled endosperm; cooking of milled endosperm in aqueous solution at temperature from 65 to 85 °C; separation of guar gum from cooked milled endosperm. Guar seeds processing plant includes in-series connected device in which guar seeds are soaked at temperature from 45 to 65 °C, device providing separation of seed coats, a device for grinding of guar seeds cleaned from shells. Apparatus also includes a device for separating crushed guar seeds into embryos and crushed endosperm, a device in which crushed endosperm is boiled at temperature of 65 to 85 °C, and a device in which guar gum is separated.

EFFECT: invention increases output of guar gum, as well as simplifies separation of guar seeds into separate components.
