The protective element extension comprises a flat extension contact surface. The blade-facing surface and the protective contact surface converge to the end of the protective element. The extension contact surface is located behind the protective contact surface relative to the direction of cutting. The extension contact surface extends transversely along the axis perpendicular to the direction of cutting. A gap is provided between the protective contact surface and the transverse section of the extension contact surface along the direction of cutting.
