SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of organic chemistry and microbiology and is intended to suppress the growth of fungi that are biodestructors of cultural heritage objects. New N4-derivatives of 5-methyl-2’-deoxycytidine are proposed, represented by the general formula where: R1 and R2 independently mean: R1= -CnH2n+1, -OCnH2n+1 (n=8-12); R2= -OH, -N3, -NH2, -NHC(O)CH3, -N(CH3)2, -NHC2H5, -N(C2H5)2, -O(CH2CH2O)3H, which are capable of suppressing the growth of mycelial fungi.

EFFECT: effective inhibition of the growth of fungi biodestructing cultural heritage objects.
