FIELD: fishing and fish farming.

SUBSTANCE: fishing bait in the form of a fish is made of an elastically deformable material, with a through channel along the entire length and with a leash located in the channel and having a fishing line attachment at one end and a hook at the other end fixed in the bait tail. Valve in the form of a plug is installed in the front part of the bait on a leash with the possibility of closing and opening the channel by means of twitching the fishing line and elastic deformation of the tail of the bait.

EFFECT: invention provides higher catchability due to creation of effect of feeding fish at movement of valve relative to small fish.
