SUBSTANCE: spinning reel relates to sport and recreational fishing. Spinning reel includes holder, housing, spool, elastic element, carrier and hinge, which connects housing with holder with possibility of limited rotation of housing relative to holder and its fixation during casting of tackle. Carrier is fixed by one end on the holder. Between the side surface of the spool and the housing there is a gear wheel with the possibility of rotation on the end facing the carrier. Gear wheel sequentially interacts with one or more protrusions made on the side surface of the spool. Cam interacts with the other end of the carrier in the process of tackle hauling under the force of the elastic element.

EFFECT: invention provides uniform winding of fishing line on spool, which increases convenience of reel use.
