SUBSTANCE: invention refers to veterinary medicine, namely to therapy of internal diseases of animals. A method of treating acute bacterial cholongiohepatitis in cats involves administering marfloxin 2 mg/kg intramuscularly once day for 14 days and metrogyl in dose of 15 mg/kg intravenously drop-by-drop 2 times day for 10 days with subsequent transfer to the oral form in a similar dose for another 30 days, ursofalk orally in dose of 15 mg/kg once day for 45 days, vitamin B₁₂ 500 mcg subcutaneously 1 time in 7 days for 45 days, vitamin Ε orally in dose of 15 mg/kg 2 times day for 6 weeks, ademetionine orally 20 mg/kg 2 times day for 6 weeks. Also, infusion therapy is performed with 0.9 % sodium chloride solution — 60 ml, 5 % glucose solution — 60 ml and ionosteril — 60 ml. Additionally, multimodal analgesia with lidocaine in the form of infusion at a constant rate at dose of 50 mcg/kg/h is performed for 5 days, intravenous drop-by-drop maropitant in dose of 1 mg/kg once a day and oral amitriptyline in dose of 5 mg/kg once a day.

EFFECT: invention increases survival rate of cats suffering from acute bacterial cholangiohepatitis.
