FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: air lift includes a lifting pipe, an air head piece with a suction branch pipe, a separator with a cover plate, and a drain pipe. The lifting pipe has a stepped extension in upward direction. In the separator cover plate there mounted is a cylindrical projection located coaxially to the lifting pipe and laid with stone cast tiles. Projection diameter, projection length and distance from the end face to the mouth of the lifting pipe exceed diameter of the outlet opening of the air lift lifting pipe.
EFFECT: increasing service life of an air lift.
